Pro-Bono Consulting

Providing students to preform real world analysis, client facing and problem solving; the Pro-Bono Consulting program is the cornerstone of WMC. We pair local businesses with students willing to gain experience to both giveback to the community around us and develop the leaders of tomorrow.

Case Competitions

WMC hosts an annual case competition each year allowing students to test their business acumen, teamwork and communications skills. With the single largest cash prize on campus, its no wonder we annually attract dozens of teams.

Workshops

Resume and Cover Letter tips, recruitment advice and even technical analysis workshops, we try to provide it all to both consultants and the student body. Through these educational seminars can provide the foundational hard skills needed to achieve industry success.

Networking

Networking: From the successful Alumni base that WMC has produced, to office tours around the GTA, we host multiple events and galas to foster an environment that connects currents students to industry professionals.

 

We don’t hold the hands of our consultants through the analysis and recommendation process. We want ideas to come organically for the optimal development of our future leaders and businesses alike. We provide all the support necessary throughout the process, including always making Senior Admin available at all times.  Our consultants are trained to develop their solutions alongside our businesses, always maintaining frequent communication. This not only allows for better implementation of solutions but allows a team to retroactively adapt to a dynamic business environment. Ultimately, leading to a well crafted and holistic final presentation.

The pinnacle of the journey: the final presentation.

All the analysis, training, meetings, checkpoints and coaching essentially boil down to this final moment, where our consultants present all information needed to tackle the business ambitions of our clients. We run a mock presentation day, whereby consultants simulate the exact pitch they would deliver to clients and we iron out any final wrinkles. Lastly, consultants present the final solutions to clients in a formal setting and continue to aid in the implementation process.
